Well chuffed for you SM, I must admit I did get to go one bit further as I got a sortie in a Vulcan, mostly low level and most spent stood on the ladder hanging onto the two ejection seats looking out the front, you are right that there is no word to describe what it is like, even my trip in the last Hunter from Honington (good though it was) will never replace the awsome memory of flying in a Vulcan.

Mind you it is the ones I missed that P me off, Lightning (went U/S), F16 (I think, went U/S) Tornado (I'll just say gits 4 times over) and Typhoon (one did live in hope with all the work I did).

Savour the moment SM, I only hope others and myself may get the opportunity some time it would be worth donating some money, if permitted, for the chance.
