Funny you should post that, just been reading about the race in the book Cluny got me for my birthday, and I went on a bit of a youtube hunt for all things DC-1 and 2s myself :D . Couldn't find anything on the DC-1.

Would love to see that DC-2 over here, maybe at next years Duxford legends ;) :D

This one was posted a couple of days ago, would have loved to have seen this.

I think there was only ever ONE DC-1......

DC-2s all went to the airlines and before
very many of them were built they were
replaced by the "3" which was basically
just larger/more powerful and with an
eye to Military Transport conversion.......
Talk about your Breakthrough Aircraft,
though!!!!!!!

I've always liked the way the DC-2's landing
lights are faired-into the nose!
