Todays SM/MF sortie, I joined a little later.

SM decided to take me to a VERY short runway I had no hope of taking off from!
Image

Then a strange bloke joined our session and decided to formate on me in his Millennium Falcon!! :D :D
Image

Image

Then I flew perfectly straight and level so SM and MF could formate on me :)

View from the nearest tower
Image

Then my DC10 fell out of the sky - just short of the runway :(
Image

Some close up shots of his VC10 for SM's benefit ;)

does Wedgy have a personal problem? Is that why all his aircraft smells of poo?

My shots from today.

MF took lessons in landing from me :)

SM's turn
Image

Image

Bah! Pretty good ;)
Image

Lined up on the runway.
Image

Formating on MF :)
Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Then took my Goose out for a buzz of the tower at Port Stanley
Image

Then SM and me took to some constellations :)
Image

Formating on SM.
Image

Image

Image

Image

The SMs turn.... after I saw my daughter married, give birth to my grand kids and watch them grow up before I took to my death bed - he EVENTUALLY got into formation :D =))

as above, but from my perspective.............

three-ship takeoff:
Image

some bloke joined us in his Millennium Falcon :))
Image

then our Connie formation over Scotland - Mayfly joined us briefly as Spitfire escort (you know what those Jocks are like! ;) )
Image

Wedgy's best formation flying to date i think - FAR better than mine today :((
Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

but then i was flying straight and level - that means not turning left all the time, and not constantly going up and down Wedgy! ;) =))
