Conc's at Brooklands

Postby Mags » Sun Sep 06, 2009 6:09 pm

As a follow on the flight sim pics

Here's G-BBDG at Brookland's. I've been round them all in Britain and this is the one with most work put in as she started off being karted up the M4 in bits from Filton. The "big" work of reassembly was done by a professional firm (same one as did East Fortunes AA) and the rest by a dedicated group of volunteers from ConcordeSST forum - lead by Gordon. :)
I think she's arguably the best of the bunch! :D

And not forgetting little G-CONC.............the model from the roundabout at Heathrow - wearing her new coat of paint, by all the same volunteers.

I'm the one the blue fleece :o)

Hey, Magsie!!!!

When do you plan on putting an AVATAR up
on here?????

Certainly you have Something in your vast
body of work that could be properly sized
and slotted-in over to the right........

Guess it's like the Cobbler's Kids going
Barefoot or the Butcher's Family living
on Bread and Turnips!

WELL???????

Great photos Mags :) But have to agree ..... its a bit like watching them slowly dying on the ground :(( But they would be dying a lot quicker without the volunteers :)
