Fun Down Under

Postby Round_engine » Sun Nov 30, 2008 12:37 pm

Apparently our friends Down Under know how to have a good time. On November 12th at the annual Lawrence Hargrave Celebration, HARS flew their Super Connie and two C-47's down the beach at Stanwell Park and gave the folks quite a thrill! Check out some photos on the Consellation Survivors website.

wow - thanks Round_engine - what a sight!

I've only ever been to one seaside air display; it has a completely different feel to it than a 'normal' one - i can only guess how fab that would've been on a beach in Oz B-)
