2009 Flight Information

Postby MrTim » Mon Oct 12, 2009 10:15 pm

As mentioned in another thread somewhere on here, I've been compiling a list of displays and fly-pasts over the season. I've updated this today with a few more fly-pasts, thanks to the information supplied by a few people, and a bit of digging around. If you know of any more, let me know, and I'll post 'em up.

Well done again, boys & girls :ymapplause:

Just a couple of small amendments concerning Wellesbourne - '558 visited on three consecutive weekends:

29th August as you mentioned
5th September - 2 passes including one with undercarriage down/airbrakes extended
13th September (not 12th as you state) - '655MaPS Members Day, three low passes over '655.

Cheers :)

I was told there were actually four flypasts of Wellesbourne. Anyone know when the other was (or it it actually happened)?

There were three on consecutive weekends as I mentioned, and the earlier one on 21st June organised to coincide with our 'Wings & Wheels' event (also appearing were the Red Arrows). This made four appearances in total for 2009 - I expect that's where you got the four from....
