558 at RIAT 2009 Print for Sale

Postby RobCM17 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 9:43 pm

Hi All,

To celebrate 558's return to RIAT this year I have produced one of my photos that captures this momentous occasion to raise funds for 558. Out of the many images that I came home with :D is the below image which was taken on the Sunday:

Image

This print is 18x12 and has been printed by the kind chaps at Forest Photographic in Walthamstow, E17.

This will be available in 2 versions - signed and unsigned.

Unsigned copies will be available from myself direct and they will be £20 including P&P.

The signed versions will be £30 BUT THERE WILL BE A DELAY in these as any signed ones that are requested I will send to a committee member in TVOC and he will make arrangements to obtain the signatures of the crew and ground crew at some point in the future date to be determined...

I picked up the first print on Monday and I have to say that it looks fantastic...well I would say that wouldn't I? ;)

Payment can either be via cheque or bank transfer.

If anyone is interested then PM me with your details and quantity required etc etc...

I'm sure Father Christmas would like to be delivering a few of these to some of us :D

Any other questions feel free to ask!

Thanks

Rob

Having seen the first print 'hot off the press' so to speak, it does look bloody good.

Good quality paper, excellent colour rendition, a MUST for any 558 lover.

Cracking effort Rob. \:D/

To clarify re the signed copies...they will be signed at some point although at this stage I don't know who or when the signing will take place. Even so it still looks nice without the signatures :)

Don't forget any enquiries or other questions then just send me a PM or general questions in the thread and I'll do my best to answer them here.

Thanks for the interest shown so far :)

You have obviously not seen what passes for my autograph ;)

If it's any consolation it's the same scribble that the CAA get to see!

Just to keep you all informed as to the progress of this venture :)

I was informed over the weekend that I need to obtain permission of the RIAT organisers as stated on the rear of the ticket and this was quoted to me :(

The Ticket Holder shall not without the Organisers' prior written consent sell, license, or otherwise exploit, or attempt to exploit, any material whether written or in the form of digital or photographic film, sound, video or other recording or computer software obtained or made at the Showground.

So I am now in discussion with RIAT and I am awaiting their decision. Needless to say the project has been halted until I get their permission which hopefully I will have in the near future :)

Let's hope so. The initial e-mail I had received yesterday morning was encouraging in that they seemed to like the photo calling it a "beauty" :)

This matter has now been referred to the Brand Manager who will be getting back to me so as soon as I hear anything then I will post the update on here.

Surely they will look at the fact that it is being sold to keep 558 in the air! :ymapplause:

Hoping it is viewed in a sensible way! ;)
