thanks Mackrick :ymapplause:

looked like it was miserable weather there today - and airfields have a habit of being at least 10° colder than anywhere else on the planet! :p

well done chaps :ymapplause:

Thanks Mackrick! :)

What was actually going on? Looks like prep for the port leg work?

Looks that way, there does seem to be a distinct lack of anything door-like in this picture...

Not wishing to nick any information for Smilers Engineering update just a few bits for you,

A start was made on inhibiting the engines, draining the fuel from them so that inhibiting oil can be pumped into the engine fuel system.

A start on preparing the port main leg for removal.

I wonder if there is a record for making a pair of steel toe capped boots last? :ymapplause:

Ok well I can confirm that she went into the hangar about 1200 today, was on Jacks by 1330 and the leg was off by 1600. A fantastic job by the lads to say the least. Still a few jobs to do by the end of the week.

My stunt double was on hand today with his camera to capture a few of the moments so hopefully Mike will post them later if not as soon as I get them they will appear on here.
