Turbo Channel (Discovery)

Postby PhantomAviator » Sat Oct 31, 2009 6:48 pm

Currently on Turbo Channel is Airshow Saturday.
The programme entitled Airshows has a slot about XH558.
They are also follow up shows about the Airshow that have taken place this year including Waddington.

These programmes are being repeated throughout the night.

An interesting piece is that now that XH558 is in the air it has opened the doors for the return of other iconic complex airframes from the cold war period.

Sorry about that SM but if I had the facility to record it to DVD I would do so for you.

I saw this. It was pretty good. Apparently they're going to try to get that old Vulcan flying again, though the boffins reckon it'll be quite tricky..... ;)
