If anyone feels this in bad taste I'll remove it or the mods can, but two stunning photos of the the display from yesterday and today (there are no crash pics). But some pilot details, I know some people can be a bit funny about releasing the pilots name and stuff (on other fora that is).

Yes it is very sad news, Dad just got a text i can't belive it I hope the other 3 are ok and worse it was one of the 2 seater Lightnings

The bang seat not working is really worrying - those things are normally hyper reliable :-?

It is tragic for whatever reason, but I think it is far too early to take much notice of the reports so far. There could be a number of reasons he didn't get out - and could be down to a number of factors.

I still cant get over it one of ,to me, the most beutiful air craft in the world and one of the last flying ones crashes it really is Tragic :( :(

Very sad the pilot didn't survive. I assume he did or the see-off crew carried out a pin check?
