MIG-29 RIAT 2006

Found this awesome photo of a MIG-29 landing at RIAT in 2006 on UKAR:

Then went hunting and found a video showing the landing



Are they supposed to land that fast and hard and smash the back end into the runway? :-o

I think you'll find it was only the tarmac on fire, used to happen at Biggin Hill all the time.

so, if either Hula-Hoop or his brother went missing, you'd be concerned before merely wondering where they are?

actually, knowing you XPL, you'd bypass the Wondering Stage altogether and go straight to Major Concern =))

I get confused at all these Ruskie variants : Mig 29, SU 37 and SU 47. (They all look the same to me - awesome !!)

Hence my confusion over Ruskie stuff Mig/SU - same plane different names - or am wrong there ?

Isn't that an SU-27? I've never heard of an SU-37 :-?

Cool video Pujgnie thanks, I am a BIG fan of Russian Jet Fighters, one day I will eventually see one at an Airshow! \:D/

Don't worry Pujgnie they all look the same to me too, same as the Raffale/Typhoon and F-15/F-14 all look the same to me!!

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.
