How minging is the interior of the jet? It's like it was personally designed for David Icke.

Wow, I've never seen flames coming from the engines like that before. Then again, I've never seen a night time take-off before. :ymapplause:

Here's my Sea Vixen vid from the Mudeford RNLI funday last year, apologies for the very poor focus/shaking and even worse commentary (note, before filming the commentator had apparently comfirmed with air traffic control it was due in approx 5 mins - camera not ready - que Sea Vixen 10 seconds later!):

Nice video Stiggy :)

Sea Vixen looks so much better in her Naval colours. Last saw her at that event a few years ago in the 'Red Bull' scheme... hey ho. Since then we have had mainly the Yak pair and the Blue Eagles. (Yawn ;) )

Pity the Harrier has never shown its' face again at Mudeford.... since this happened later that year :

Great noisey display. The seagulls were NOT happy !!

That was at lowestoft, the funny thing was the pilot suffered no injuries during the ejection but his ankle was broken by the loadmaster/winchweight that rescued him from the Seaking!

I heard he broke it whilst landing BACK onto the ditched Harrier... he clearly lands back where the plane ended up. (good job it was in the sea - and not ablaze)

He is thought to have hit the tailplane with his foot and then when in the Seaking the Loady was checking him out and when straightening out his ankle there was a loud snap and a lot of pain!

Yeah I read that he broke his ankle because he landed back ontop of the Harrier.

Is it right that the crash was caused because he touched the throttle levers rather than the nozzle levers?

OK, apologies if these have been posted before. I would have looked but I fear that my laptop may go into meltdown if I try to do too much on it at once. :))

Enjoy (especially if you haven't seen them before) B-)

Thank you 'MrMilitaryAviation'
