I'd be more interested in the feedback on the presentation.

I too would welcome some feedback on this; having just read a very disturbing thread on the Trust/Club site. It seems that m/s Education person has upset a very loyal, longstanding member of the team; Namely Naddy. This is not surprising, given my personal experiences with the so called "education project".
We as fundraisers are paying for the salary of this manager, and sadly not in washers, because frankly she is not even worth that much.
I look forward to hearing more...........

It was in Lutterworth a couple of years ago. It was an IMechE event, I think in association with the Aeronauticals, and it was packed to the rafters. Ramshornvortex and myself attended. It was about the project to return 558 to flight.

It was just rather a shame that the presenter, a (very) senior member of TVOC, didn't seem to know whether Avro had provided the Vulcan with a delta or a crescent wing, and had no idea of numbers in service, losses, history, etc. Overall, a disappointing experience.

We must hope they have improved with practice.

Wonder who that was?

There could be a presentation in the near future from a club committee member ..... all I can say is if you come along, please be gentle, I'll be doing my best but remember I no longer represent the Trust so it will be on the aircraft and not the project/business.. and anyway you'll probably know more than I do about the aircraft...

In case anyone has worked out who presented the event I have mentioned, and may have misunderstood my comments, I will add that there were in fact two presenters. The smaller part of the presentation, given by the more junior of the presenters, was excellent.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend last night - by the time I finished working on the house, it was too late.

Be very interested to hear what it was like, if any Iconic forumeers attended.
