It sure would, most of the kit I was trained on was Lanc/Shack era or Vulcan. All that lovely hand made pitot static and O2 copper pipery, air driven gyros, clockwork sextants, drift indicators etc. Bring it on I'll do it for free NAAFI lunches and a cuppa twice a day with engine oil on the top! :D

Haha, he did say she might be the one aircraft to get him flying again - but with BBMF down the road there are enough Lanc pilots available... :(

He has been offered the opportunity in the past but he gave up flying almost 18 mths ago - although he came home from a symposium yesterday with a twinkle in his eye & announced he had been offered more flying! :))

More than enough Lanc pilots around these parts to cover the need.......
