We often get model makers at Wellesbourne taking photos and measurements of obscure details of XM655. You are always welcome any Saturday, and you can have pretty well all the access you need.
If you ask nicely, we will even explain what you need to change to "de-tune" your model into a mere 200 series Vulcan.
I have sent your quote to him in an email - he's only just under an hour away from 655
