They have at some point according to the manual been turned 90degs & raised - and were like that in the video, just not sure how old the video is.
However this pic was taken in the VDF days & was used in the 1995 calendar DT produced

It's easy to see the difference with adjacent pictures in the Haynes manual. Page 82 has a cockpit drawing, and beside it on page 83 is a photo of 558.
