Brigg Garden centre was treated to a Tornado passing by at around 200(ish) feet this afternoon :-o brilliant :ymapplause: :D

But no camera :(( :((

Easy mistake, when you're at least 4 miles away and all you can go on is a T tailed aircraft trailing lots of smoke! ;)

So far this week, a TriStar, several King Airs, a Tornado, a couple of E-3's and a Grob Tutor seen aloft. And 2 Vulcans on the deck in one day yesterday; 607 and 594 :)

Someone has posted that an AWAC aircraft has been circling round Holbeach for about 13 or 14 times and wondered what it was doing. Is there any training out that way today?

If it is they managed to fix it in time for the weekend and then the fault has returned this morning! :-o

There are very often circular contrails in that direction - I think today just had the right atmospheric conditions for them to be visible for quite a distance. The wind must have also been quiet weak for them to stay so close for a long time.

Still going round, he's to the south of Peterborough at 13:10 and the trail is only lasting for about 5 miles! ;)
