I believe that XH558 was the first B2 in service. Its production number was 42. XH533 had the production number 31, which was the lowest number assigned to any B2, it was just that it came into service after '558! :D

According to my Father's Database, XH558 was the 6th B2 to be completed, but was the first to enter service.

The first production B. Mk 2 (XH533) flew on 19 August 1958 with Olympus Mk 200 engines, and the first delivery to 230 OCU occurred on 1 July 1960.

XH558 joined the same unit on 30 June 1960...the day before!!!
